As part of the typography course, I focused on the overarching theme of special characters, specifically examining the symbols on the Mac keyboard. This project explores the symmetry, significance, and historical background of these symbols. The aim was to showcase these small characters in a prominent way.

Balance of Power

In our photography course, we studied analog photography. The task was to create an album cover, which involved the complete process of photographing, developing in the darkroom, and then enlarging the images. My retro-futuristic album cover is dedicated to my two friends, Wilma and Julia, who are depicted on the cover. Consequently, the album includes a selection of their favorite songs.

Tic Tac Typeface

My custom-designed typeface is inspired by a ticking Tic-Tac box. The wide sections of the letters are based on the proportion of the lid's width relative to the box.

Mittagsdämonen

In a typography final project on the theme "12 Noon," I focused on the concept of midday demons. In ancient and medieval folklore, especially noon was considered a time for the appearance of gods and spirits. These entities were often blamed for causing lethargy and heatstrokes. However, in my work, I explored what midday demons might be responsible for in today's context.
