Lamp is a series of ceramic lighting objects in varying sizes. Their defining feature is a glaze developed specifically for this work, inspired by the works of Ahryun Lee. The dotted glaze creates an engaging surface that invites touch, through the choice of colors, the glaze points stand out from the base surface, making them visually compelling as well. The lamps were created as independent works during my training. This project allowed me to work more closely with glaze and surface and to gain experience with larger ceramic forms.

60 - 90cm height, 16 - 25cm diameter

They were made on the potter’s wheel using a coil-building technique. Invested a great deal of time in developing the glaze, gradually approaching my vision through continuous experimentation.
