------work in progress------ Jewellery packaging design. Often, jewellery cases are forgotten in drawers once they are no longer needed to transport jewellery. Tangerine is a concept where the packaging gets destroyed after the transport, and its purpose transforms into something that is much more useful at home. A place to return the jewellery to when not in use, and present it: a jewellery display. The packaging consists of three parts, one is the shell, and the other two form the base. The shell and the outer part of the base are firmly connected. The inner part holds the ring. To pack the ring, the inner part is pushed in place and secured. At this point, the packaging is completely closed. The only way to open the casing again is to rip the shell apart along the dotted lines. The transportation function is lost and transforms into the display function. Tangerine is a special packaging for special gifts. |
